The project ADIR was carried out by an European consortium from R&D and industry to achieve a new level of urban mining using a piece-by-piece treatment of end-of-life electronics for a selective dismantling of valuable components to gain highly enriched sorting fractions. ADIR was accompanied by an advisory board with representatives from leading European telecom enterprises. The project run time was 1.9.2015 to 31.12.2019.
